I finished this, the first painting of any 'substantial' size (80x55cms.) yesterday since my hip replacement 16 weeks ago...it was a bit of a struggle standing at the easel for any length of time...but got there in the end! It was nice to get back to work, and smell the oil paint and turpentine!...but my lower back is killing me today.
