Exhibiting in Florence.

I have been told not to worry, that all is moving forward...but I can't help it, I guess once again this is part of
the tyranny of distance, being so far away from Europe.
I am hoping that things go ahead...this project/exhibition in Florence is very special and dear to my heart, as I will be collaborating with someone I respect immensely.

First time back in the studio since surgery

Worked on 3 small studies (30 x30cms) for larger "Reef" paintings in the future. I find myself drawn to the reef motif, and I am also thinking a lot of manmade breakwaters as subjects for future paintings.
I guess I like the moment were water meet the immovable barrier...that moment, that energy?....who knows?

A gift received today -

A book on the "Wildflowers of Oman" (thank you Aparna), it is beautiful, and I am sure will serve as inspiration for a new series of paintings.
Perhaps an exhibition in Oman?...It is a place I have long wanted to visit, and to show my work there would be a real treat.

Waiting anxiously ...

on word of a show in Florence moving forward.
I have been focussing on this small exhibition all through my
pre and post hip surgery, and I am hoping that it is going ahead as planned.
The prospect of this show, has got me through many low times.
I find myself praying that it goes ahead!
