Underpainting begins on new pen series for Montegrappa.

Egrets appeared in my dreams last night, and today I begin a new series of hand painted pens for Montegrappa. 
I have taken the dream as an omen, and have created 

this very rough preliminary drawing.
I think it must be something to do with the arabesque line of the birds neck 

that makes me think of writing, and ink flowing. I will explore this imagery today.
