"Desert Flight - Across the Gibbers"

2 Canvases each 152x50 cms - oil on canvas

I have begun work on my entry for the WATERHOUSE Prize. I am happy with how it is progressing. Worked on it for about 4 hours, getting the underpainting done. It is a relatively simple painting, it is amazing the amount of work that goes into making a seemingly simple work of art! My lower back is hurting a lot.

I have just picked up the canvas for the painting that I will enter into the 2011 WATERHOUSE ART PRIZE for Natural History Art.

I have decided to enter the WATERHOUSE PRIZE - for natural history art.
