Studio Shots

Arthritis in both hands is making painting very difficult. I am resisting taking Prednisolone, knowing it will help with the pain and swelling but hating the side effects. So pain killers for now, some anti inflammatory gel and strapping, hopefully that will help and calm it down.

Excited by a development in my idea for creating artworks using electric light as the medium.

I am excited when an idea for creating new pieces, takes my head into new spaces. When an idea bounces around like a marble in a concrete room!...it can be exhausting, filling pages of notebooks with words and scribbles of ideas, it could all lead to nothing, but the journey is exhilarating and certainly entertaining. There should be 36 hours in a day, and we should be able to choose to live to 100!

I am thinking more and more of interpreting my 'atmospheric' paintings as light installations. I will have to seek out someone expert in lighting to discuss. I would also like to explore them using video, if i could manipulate and alter the video image somehow, to make it more 'painterly'.
